Global Corporate Security Manager

(2021 - 2022)

 

  • Selected to build, institute, and maintain a culture of physical security excellence globally to over 75 sites spread across the Americas, APAC, and EAME

  •  

  • Provide assistance, expertise, and advice on implementation of corporate physical security requirements and security related incident investigations

  •  

  • Designed and delivered training programs for Site Managers, EHS Managers, and Facility Security Officers at all facilities globally

  •  

  • Participated in security audit protocols and audit programs as required by internal procedures and regulatory statutes

  •  

  • Developed a Security Vulnerability Assessment program to be deployed to all Huntsman sites and maintained on a rotational cycle

  •  

  • Maintained the Global Travel Security program for all Huntsman associates traveling to high risk locations

  • Maintained and updated internal policies/procedures for EHS functions including physical security, travel security, workplace violence, emergency response, and the corporate crisis plan

  •  

  • Assisted sites as a subject matter expert to maintain compliance with security related regulatory compliance including CFATS, HM-232, Responsbile Care, ITAR, DEA, and C-TPAT

  • Restructured Huntsman's Corporate Crisis Plan, including the introduction of a Crisis Event Management platform (CEM) to assist in the response effort yo events that elevate to the stage of corporate engagement
  •  
  • Introduced threat monitoring technology to assist site HSE Managers and Corporate Crisis Managers to events that could inpact operations to all sites globally
  •  
  • Eliminated yearly contract fees and captured $30k in annual department savings over 3-years by building a team charged with securiing a software program that me case management needs
  •  
  • Evaluated and recommended improvements to the corporate traveler security & safety program monitoring the welfare of all associates when traveling on Huntsman related trips internationally
  •  
  • Expanded the Security Vulnerability Assessment program (SVA) to include sites located outside the continental US
  • coorrdinated efforts to extract Huntsman associates and family members that were in Ukraine during the initial days of the Russian invasion
